CANOE CAMPING
TRIPS
At our Manitowish Waters location we offer partial and complete outfitting for overnight adventures on the Manitowish River & Turtle Flambeau Flowage. We can provide all you need to enjoy the wilderness: tents, waterproof packs, cooking gear, food and much more. (We do not provide sleeping bags).
 Beginner's Canoe
Trip...Making it fun and doing it
right.
Extensive instruction in canoeing, cooking,
packing, camping, and fishing techniques is done slowly to
give you the know-how for a successful camping trip. We
will not put you out until you are ready and all of your
questions have been answered carefully. You will have
acquired those skills necessary for a successful wilderness
adventure. This is the most gratifying of all our trips
because we are able to see your progress and growth in the
great outdoors in which we played a major part.
Manitowish River
Float Fishing Trip...Walleye, Bass and Northern
Pike
This is an outstanding fishing trip.
Catch walleyes on leeches and crawlers. Northerns on
larger minnows, Rapallas and spinners. Bass on
everything - top water - Hulla poppers - jitter bugs and to
add to your excitement there is always a Musky or two to rip
up your lines and scare the hell out of you. Float the
river, camp out and cook fresh fish you caught that day.
Then move on to the next campsite and repeat the whole thing
over again with all new territory to explore. Take a fly
rod along for great Bass fishing and good sized
Northerns.
This trip starts across from the Hawk's Nest and
ends up at Murry's Landing. Complete outfitting for
three days and two nights with a special briefing for rigging
and fishing techniques.

Nature Package...Deer, Beaver, Loons, Eagles, Osprey, and
much more!
Let us plan a special route for you
trip. We know where the eagles and osprey are
nesting. We know which nests have young. Let us
show you the areas frequented by deer and where the otters
play and wild flowers grow. This will be a diversified
trip of rivers and lakes.

and three nights with out special route briefing.
Fishing and
Exploring Package...Walleye! Walleye! Northern Pike, Bass
& Musky
Our guides are out there
everyday. We know where on the flowage the fish are
hitting and what they are being caught on. We will route
this trip to your wants and place you base camps close to the
action so you will spend less time searching and more time
fishing. You'll see a great deal of the Turtle-Flambeau
Flowage and it's rivers.
Complete outfitting for five days
and four nights with an in-depth fishing and route
briefing.
Wilderness High
Adventure Trip
Our personal route planning with you
