Hawk's Nest Canoe Outfitters is the place to call if you are looking for a Northern Wisconsin Canoe Trip, Canoe Outfitting, or an Adventure Trip. We have Canoe Trips, Canoe Outfitting, or Adventure Trips on the Wisconsin River, the Turtle Flambeau Flowage and many other locations in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

We now have THREE Canoe bases to serve you! Please see the "Locations" page for addresses and directions. Canoeing, kayaking, rafting and tubing are available at all 3 locations.

Outfitting from our Manitowish Waters location, you can paddle Wisconsin's Turtle Flambeau Flowage, which is located just west of Mercer in Northern Wisconsin, has 19,000 Acres of Water, 212 Miles of Shoreline, 90% State Owned, 195 Islands for use in Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Canoeing and Nature Observation.

You don't have to drive 12 to 14 hours to boundary waters.

There are no portages while canoeing and camping on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, all points are accessible by water.

There are 60 state camp sites, free of charge.

The Flowage has the highest number of bald eagle, osprey, and common loon breeding pairs in Wisconsin.

Six and one-half hours from Chicago, 5 hours from Milwaukee, 4 hours from Madison, and 1/2 Hour north of Minocqua, US Hwy 51.
